Chisholm Trail Roundup BBQ/Music Festival |

Chisholm Trail is the biggest annual festival in Lockhart! The second week of June, from Wednesday to Sunday held at the Lockhart City Park. The event is attended by more than 30,000 people. Cities and counties from all over central Texas are represented in the parade with beautiful parade floats! The festival begins Wednesday morning with a Cowboy Breakfast and on Thursday at 5pm a carnival begins that operates throughout the festival and ends on Sunday at 8pm. Throughout the entire event there are various types of music with local bands and dances on both Friday and Saturday nights. Other activities include horseshoe pitch, fiddling contest, golf tournament, catfish roundup, great food, entertainment, and much more!
