At Bright Horizons, our child care and early education centers encourage children to reach their full potential. Through discovery, language-rich experiences, a loving and nurturing faculty, and friendships that begin in infancy, children who come to Bright Horizons build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning. We help children to see the world as an invitation to learn, grow, and live fully, and prepare them to approach school and academics with skills, confidence, and the drive to succeed. The Risas y Sonrisas Classroom Program is more than a set of teaching aids. It is rooted in a method that is designed to stimulate different learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) to capture the attention of all students. By using a multi-sensory approach, both sides of the brain are engaged in the learning process. Students can learn much faster and with a higher level of retention. We have recently created a Network of Spanish Instructors who use the Risas y Sonrisas curriculum. The purpose of the network is to provide a link between qualified instructors and those seeking Spanish classes for children. (see less text)... (see more text)

She received her Montessori training in Bergamo, Italy. She is director of
the school and currently involved in continuing parent and staff education.
Austin Montessori School enjoys an outstanding reputation both here and
abroad. The excellence found in our classrooms is the result of the strong
support and trust of our parents and the dedication, training, and commitment
of our teachers. Turnover among our teachers is exceptionally low,
and their number of years of experience in Montessori is unusually high,

Dr. Maria Montessori observed the importance of birth to 6 years of age. This time period that she refers to as the "Absorbent Mind" is the most important and critical years of learning.
