Georgetown Symphony Society sponsors its annual Festival of the Arts at venues around Georgetown for four days, always including the first weekend in June. The Festival offers concerts and talks by nationally recognized musicians and scholars, featuring a different classical composer each year. Art in the Park offers fine arts and crafts for display and sale in San Gabriel Park on Festival weekend, plus workshops, performances, and lots of good food. On Saturday night of Festival weekend bring or purchase a picnic and enjoy the free concert in the park, followed by a big fireworks display. Location: Georgetown, TX.
