Annual Bluebonnet Festival |

Each year the town of Burnet welcomes the arrival of spring and the beautiful Texas wildflower season with its annual Bluebonnet Festival. This Hill Country tradition celebrates the beauty of the area and the wonderful people who live here. Experience the Texas friendly folks and family fun of this festival. There are numerous Children Activities including a Bicycle Decorating Contest, Pet Parade and of course Carnival Rides, an old fashioned parade and a Childrens Fun Run! History Buffs and Thrill Seekers alike will enjoy the "Shoot Out" and Wild West Show with our own local cowboys, the Hill Country Gunfighters Association. And the breath-taking exhibitions by the Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force. Greet the Hill Country Flyer steam trains as it rolls into the depot then stroll around and take in the Antique Car Show. You will find lots of unique, one-of-a-kind treasures at hundreds of booths set up by both local and out of town vendors. Location: Burnet, TX.
