Texas Military Forces Museum Muster Day |
|
Muster Day is known in history as the day each year when all able-bodied men would gather for roll call on the village green. Thus, in every community it was known exactly how many men could be counted on in the event of an emergency. Each year in April, the Texas Military Forces Museum at Camp Mabry hosts its Muster Days festival. The festival features re-enactments, souvenirs, living history displays, armored vehicles, cavalry performances, kids activities, food and drinks and more. Location: Austin, TX. For more information visit the Texas Military Forces Museum website. |
